Impact and fulfilment - It's not about you.

Some people go through life with a vision to feel good and to “be happy,” which is a perfectly fine goal to have, but it’s not particularly meaningful. It’s not going to provide fulfillment in the long run.

Unless we know and can see that we are making an impact in the lives of other people, we feel less valued.

Why? Because we are not doing anything valuable.

How would you feel if you created change in the world? Or even just impacted someone else every single day? You would feel pretty great, right?

People don’t remember others or businesses because of their clothes, their hair, or the colors of their logo. They remember how you or your brand made them feel. Studies show that 80% of consumers are more likely to do business with a brand that offers personalized experiences and a strong emotional connection.

This is why figuring out your passions, your skills, and working through the things you have had to overcome can be so important and fulfilling. To successfully facilitate change and add value, we live, we learn, and then we pass on and guide others. We can’t make an impact when we have not been impacted ourselves.

The highest form of life fulfillment arises from helping those around you, especially when it allows you to express your passions and experiences.

What level of impact do you want to make?

There are three levels of impact you can have:

1. Personal impact – You do things that improve the quality of your own life. This could mean setting personal goals, prioritizing self-care, or making decisions that align with your values.

2. Individual impact – You positively influence one or a few people at a time, such as your family, friends, or close community. Think about the last time you offered advice or support…how did that feel?

3. Cultural or global impact – You create change on a larger scale through your work, initiatives, or activism. This could be through business, social impact projects, or using your voice to challenge the status quo.

How to Create More Meaningful Impact

Living on purpose and bringing about change requires self-awareness and action. Here are some steps to help you create a meaningful impact:

✔️ Identify your strengths & passions – What are you naturally good at? What excites you? Use these as your foundation for making an impact.

✔️ Set an intention – What kind of impact do you want to have? Whether small or big, defining this will help you stay aligned with your goals.

✔️ Take action every day – Impact doesn’t have to be grand; small, consistent actions add up over time.

✔️ Share your knowledge & experiences – Someone out there needs what you have to offer. Whether it’s mentorship, content creation, or simply sharing your story, your journey can inspire others.

✔️ Challenge yourself to grow – The more you evolve, the greater your ability to create change.

If you’re going to create something, consider how you might be able to share that experience to add value. The world doesn’t just need more noise…it needs more people who are willing to make a difference.
